Just for fun I decided to add another vector image to my portfolio. Also, I wanted a nice crisp vector version of this awesome fellah to maybe put on a shirt. Pleased to be meeting the baby eatin' alligator:
Chomp.
He's from this awesome vinyl figure Andrea pointed out to me in the window of Ms. Tiggy Winkles (as seen in a blurry camera phone picture here.) Needless to say, we're a little in love with him, but the only way to get him is by purchasing a random 'blind box' from the vinyl figure series and hoping that it's him. Boo-urns!

For the past 2 weeks or so, I've noticed my vision was been a little on the crappy side. Things are blurrier than usual, I have to strain to read things far away, etc... And of course my brain is all "OMGIhavediabetesandamgoingblindOMG."
I finally got around to going to the Eye Dr. today to find out that my vision hasn't decreased a single point. My vision is exactly the same. (Phew!) It's my crappy glasses that are the problem. The anti-glare coating is scratching off ALL OVER THE PLACE and that's what's making my vision so blurry and giving me headaches.
So, the good news: I'm not going blind and today I picked out some sexeh new red specs. The bad news: Said sexeh new red specs cost me $315. Ouch.
Here is how my face will look to others shortly:

ooOOoo...
And here's how others will stop looking to me shortly:
Is it sasquatch? Is it Ryan Jeffries? Who can tell with these glasses.
In other news, my cat is weird. Here is how I found him lying on the floor a few days ago. And when I went in for a closer look with my cell phone camera, he grabbed my phone with his paw and brought it closer to him so he could lick it:
 Kittehs man. Srzly.

This morning, as I often do, I go and check my Etsy shop to see how many more people have clicked on my felt cakes without buying them, (sigh,) and I find this message in my Etsy inbox:
"Hello there, I would like to invite you to participate in the Westend Artisan Crafters Market - spring edition at the Nepean Sportsplex on Saturday, May 10. I hope it's fine to contact you through this website. As you may know, it's not that easy to find trendy and cool crafters in this area, but I thought your felt cakes were great and would be a welcome addition to our market."
I think I'm going to do it. I could make some plushies and felt flowers, as well as my "generic-wizard-not-harry-potter-please-don't-sue-me" wands. Usually your stuff has to be judged by a committee to get in, but since I was invited, I'm just in. It makes me feel fancy.
In other news, I made a lemon meringue pie for Chris and it didn't suck! Huzzah! Those of you present for the first RP night may remember the disaster which was my first attempt at a lemon meringue pie that tasted like the way I imagine an orphan's tears might taste.
Take two. Use take two. See ridiculously wordy Flickr photo-set recipe here.
Also, O HAY first journal post I've made in like, a ba-jillion years. How *you* doin? Bring that fiiiiiine ass ovah here, I missed you. *slap*

So Darren and I are going to try to organize our very own Guitar Hero tournament after going to a crappy one last week. We applied for and were accepted to the Official Guitar Hero Street Team as promoters. To get possible sponsors to take us seriously, I created a couple of badges for us to wear:

*Squeeeeeeee!* Yeah, I'm so gay for Guitar Hero.

Sometimes Chris is out and about and decides to buy me the thing I've always wanted, but thought was too expensive to buy. And not just one of them, but two! Horray for random splurge purchases!
On a side note, does anyone have some extra groceries lying around this month? Just kidding. Sorta.

( more of Cornice and Raphia thisaway... )
Preeeeeeety. And they come out with a new doll each month. Our finances are scruuuu-uued.

Chris had the hilarious idea to take a picture of his Tauren in front of Stormwind, so I took his screen shot and upped its hilarity value by 10% by making it into a desktop background:

And here is it in all its 1440x900 glory. For the Horde!

[24 Jan 2007|04:39pm] |
Ok, so after some guilt-tripping from Butler at the Steve/Julie/Mitchy-Mike party, I've posted the halloween party 2006 pics on our halloween website:

And then I remembered that I didn't post the new year's pics yet either, so that website is updated too:

Enjoy looking at yourselves in compromising positions!

High and Dry - Radio Head... on my Wii! |
] |

And because you know you want it: The 'Dick in a Box' mp3.
That song = on my iPod forever. Or for about a month when the shine wears off.
Also, those of you with Wii's: Go to finetune.com and sign up, make a playlist of all your fave tunes (they have everything,) then visit www.finetune.com/wii on your Wii, login and load up your playlist to enjoy your tunes Wii-style.
Keep in mind, that to keep this legal, the playlists can have no more than 3 songs of the same artist and there has to be a minimum of 45 tracks. Try clicking the 'I'm Lazy' button while viewing your playlist details and it will auto fill in the rest of the tracks based on your decisions so far. Awesome.
To view my playlist, visit the site on the wii and type in username jennywii. I think it's A+supergreat. There's no password needed since you can't edit the playlists on the wii, just listen to them.
Enjoy, my pretties.
